I have built my real estate business from the customer up. I set my sights on the right target – my customers. I am not content in just satisfying my customers – I turn them into raving fans! I want them to be so excited by the way I treat them that they tell everyone about my service – thus, they become part of my sales force. This unique approach in the resort market where customers are more demanding has proved to be my most effective sales tool.

As part of my personal promotional campaign I direct-mail thousands of letters each year to potential customers. All my mailings include testimonials written by former customers who rave about my service, integrity, knowledge, and honest approach to the real estate business. I am also a great resource center for my customers; i.e., “Hey, George, can you recommend someone for . . . “ My customers know they can count on me in every way possible, even after the transactions are completed. The more your customers know you have their best interest at heart – the more likely you are to succeed.

I am obsessed with going the extra mile to make my customers happy. Customer service is not just my slogan, but also a way of life. Each year I spend many hours meeting with my staff to review the past year’s positive results and to turn “lost” into “found” opportunities. By following this practice, I’ve optimized my chances by studying the interaction with others that helped my successes and make the adjustments where needed to ensure none pass me by.

The RE/MAX organization, with its worldwide reach, creates a huge marketing resource; and its framework lends itself to turning customers into “raving” fans. I am fortunate to be surrounded by such professional, entrepreneurial people of comparable values; people who are focused, optimistic, and passionate about their goals – who live their dreams and help others do the same!

As “owners” of our own businesses, we have the freedom to grow not only in size, but at our own pace – celebrating our achievements and that of our peers – while having lots of fun along the way! YES! Count me a “Raving Fan” of my staff – my customers – and the entire RE/MAX Network of Winners!

George was born in Albany, New York. After college and with over 20 years as a Corporate Marketing Executive under his belt, George and his wife, Sandy, moved to Lake Wallenpaupack, a resort area in Pennsylvania. Within six months of retiring from his first career, George joined RE/MAX as an agent in 1996. In 1998 George became a RE/MAX franchisee/owner. Today, George is one of the most recognized real estate agents in the booming resort market. George's marketing and corporate background gave him the foundation to build a very successful practice. He spends his free time in the Florida keys fishing and investing real estate. George has been a hospice volunteer for over ten years and cherishes the relationships he has with his hospice patients and their respective families.
